Chances

Chances

what are my chances to get into harvard university??

I am an asian from a small school in east toronto - ranked #2 out of a class of 400+. Currently finished grade 11
2390 SAT I
SAT II
Math II 800
Physics 800
Chemistry 790

Ontario Scholar
Member of Honours Society (3 years)
11 Chem Departmental Award
11 Physics Departmental Award

ECs:
I work on a robotics club (1 year) and very passionate about it
volunteer at web club, network club, game designing club (all tech related)
Member of library club, math club.
Member of a table tennis club at neighbourhood
founding member of a tutoring center at neighbourhood.
I worked in university level research of picosatelltes at Ryerson University and wrote a technical report on it.

As you can see all my ECs are tech related, I am very passionate about engineering. The only thing that I don't have is the ap courses sicne my school does not offer them. But I am planning to write six ap courses in the next may and expecting to get 5 in atleast four of them. But probably that will be too late.

I know my qualifications are not good enough to get into Harvard. But I have still one year to work on it. So can you rate my chances to get into Harvard between 0% to 100%. And can you please give me any suggestions that will increase my chances to get into Harvard???

Thanks for your time

you have a couple of months

Someone chance me!!

you obviously know you are a competitive applicant, there is nothing else that can be said apart from your weak ECs and being an asian international doesn't help either.

Excuse me if the application process is different in Canada, but if you've just finished grade 11 and are about to start grade 12, you have about three-and-a-half months until applications are due in, not one year. Obviously, your transcript will be sent to Harvard and your 12th grade courseload will be included on it along with the AP's, should you take them, but you won't have your final scores.

If your interest is in engineering and technology I'd suggest looking into the programs at Stanford, MIT, Princeton and Caltech (if you aren't already). Harvard isn't particularly standout in that field. That said, your ECs don't particularly set you apart from the legions of other asian international applicants, so it'll probably be a coin flip.

What school do you go to by the way (I'm also a Torontonian)?

Oh and what's "library club"? Sounds...exciting lol o_O

And if you want a percentage chance I'll say 25-35%
