Rec:

I had the same math teacher 9, 10, and 11 grade. In 9th grade geometry I didnt do my hw and my grade reflected it. 10th I relized I could really get in to Precalc Honors, so I tried really hard (I had the highest grade on the final of the 150+ people that took it) and I got in. 11th grade I had the highest grade in the class. At the end of the year, the teacher asked me to write my rec. This is a teacher that has been around 30+ years also, so its not some new person that just wants an ego boost of a kid asking for a rec. I belive the rec that she writes will be absolutely stellar.

Ok, heres the deal. Ever since pre-school I have been going to see doc's for attention problems and writing difficulties. I went to CHOP at UPenn hospital, all the way down to UNC-Chapel Hill, and so on. At the tail end of 10th grade, I was finally prescribed Adderall XR, and it has been a dream. I can finally pay attention in class, I do my homework, and writing a 3 page essay doesnt take 2 whole weekends. You can see the improvements in my grades accordingly. This year, after being a classified for special ed since 4th grade I was able to drop that classification. I hope to include this in an addtional essay attached to the common app.
