<p>Been doing debate extensively all of my years in HS</p>
<p>Planning to apply to all of the UCs (CA resident), Emory, NWestern, maybe some others but those are the only sure ones right now.</p>
<p>is debate ur only ec? if so ur ec's r pretty weak. and what about community service? u dodn't mention any. ur SAT's are good, and ur SAT 2's are good. as far as ur chances u have a good shot at the UCs since ur a resident of CA. same goes 4 emory. but when it comes to nwestern u may want to find one or two more activities that u enjoy 2 stand out 2 there admissions officers.</p>
<p>Considering that doing well in debate takes as much work, if not more than most peoples 20+ ECs, yes that is my only one.</p>
<p>But I've also worked for a student made nonprofit organization (one of first ppl there) for 2 years as well as volunteering/tutoring at an elementary school in a disadvantaged area (my service stuff)</p>
