Chances?

<p>Currently at a Theater Conservatory, applying to Sarah Lawrence and Smith.</p>

<p>H.S. GPA: 3.0 - competitive h.s.
ACT: 22 - not great I know, but SLC doesn't take it into consideration
English AP: 4</p>

<p>Current GPA: close to a 4.0? I had my teachers fill out my "midterm evaluation" yesterday...</p>

<p>Voice and Speech: A-
Movement for Actors: A "Motivated, attentive, and talented"
Gender Studies: P "Pass/fail class - Molly is doing very well"
Acting: A "Molly is a suburb actor and human being"
Text Analysis: A "Molly is a fantastic student"</p>

<p>The only class not listed is Modern Art History, for which I think I'm getting a B.</p>

<p>Extracurriculars: Theater, Improv Comedy troupe, Swing Dance Society, Fine Arts, community choir. I also held part time jobs through out high school. </p>

<p>I have strong essays and good recommendations. </p>

<p>Chances?</p>

<p>Cornish College of the Arts. Seattle, wa. One of three private arts conservatories for undergraduates in the country. Sister school to Cal Arts (I think..). Although many pepople haven't heard of it - I've gotten the impression that it's fairly respected with in the arts community.</p>

<p>I know the school, but I don't think I can give you any sort of chance. Just wait and see what happens. I would apply to some more schools if you are intent on transferring. good luck!</p>
