chances ?

So I keep getting all of this stuff in the mail from Trinity, and I'm thinking I'm just going to apply for the heck of it.

So anyway...

white female
small public school in PA
GPA: Um yeah, I'm not sure on terms of the 4.0 scale, but it's a 97-ish UW, and over 100 weighted
Rank: 14/206
ACT: well, if you superscore it, a 27, but otherwise, 26. BAH!
And yeah, my school doesn't offer a lot of APs, but I have AP English Lit. & Bio, and dual enrollment Spanish 4. But I have had all Adv. classes since freshman year.

ECs:
Co-Editor-in-Chief of newspaper
Yearbook staff
Marching Band - Treasurer, Trumpet Section leader
Concert Band
Jazz Band
Pep band
Book Club
Leo Club (volunteer club)

Volunteered at hospital over the summer
Volunteer at a food pantry

Also, my school is so stupid and decided to reject me from NHS because I'm not extremely religious and I don't go to a youth group... so will not being in NHS hurt me? If so, UGH.

Solid chance, not being in NHS isn't going to hurt you at all. Also not being from new england is going to give you an edge. Your grades sound better than average here.

Good luck, and hope you consider it if you do get excepted

yeah, your grades will most likely compensate for your acts. if you can get a 28+ on the act, i would say you'd have a good chance, otherwise, your chances are still decent...just make sure to keep up your class rank as that seems to be your strong point.

"hope you do consider it if you do get EXCEPTED"

haha
