Please assess my chances! i would appreciate it tremendously and also please give me any advice. Thank you!

this looks totally amazing. however maybe you should consider pursuing a quirky hobby that you do just for enjoyment? i know colleges love to brag about 'we admitted XX national merit finalists, a pogo champion and a firedancer'. right now it's a lot of (challenging and rewarding, i'm sure) but unfortunately stereotypical leadership positions. wow though you do a lot of work! and being hispanic will certainly increase your chances. good luck.

so like what kind of hobby do you think? my town is super small and there is not very much to do, and the things i like are just the regular nerdy things like reading lol oh and I'm also a huge teen drama fan hahaha i dont think yale would be to impressed with that :) one thing that I didnt put down is that I also applied for a position as a youth legislator in my state, so I am awaiting a response. hopefully that would go right also

Looks good, your grades certainly aren't an issue. I think on average most people applying to Yale have gotten at least 700 on each section (not to say that people who scored lower weren't admitted, just that those scores were less common).

Starting a club that is centered around something about which you are passionate might be a good way to branch out; it's nothing fancy, but it's a start. Sometimes starting small opens up a lot of opportunities for volunteering, leadership, and changing the world around you. If you love reading, start a club that tutors kids that have a hard time keeping up with their classmates' literacy. If you want to take advantage of being bilingual you could throw some Spanish into there if you want.

This is just a very basic example, but I think by starting movements in a town or county you can become recognized more and learn about more opportunities through networking. Good luck!

It's hard to tell. You've only been graded in one AP class, have taken zero AP classes, and have no standardized tests. You have decent service involvement, but no real extracurricular passion. You have affirmative action at your back, however.

"and battling for the #1 spot." Calm down about the grades! I really don't think being 1 or 2 makes tooo much of a big difference. Anyway, you've had a great high school career....you just need to show your passion and purpose when you apply.

By zero AP classes, I meant zero AP tests, btw.

I would say reach, because Yale is a reach for everyone. Just make sure you have a balanced list, I wouldn't be surprised if you got in, but I wouldn't be surprised if you didnt get in either.

the reason i only have one ap class is because that is the only ap class available for juniors. the rest are for seniors and i will be, as far as i know, the student graduating with the most ap's from my school since i will be taking all of the the ones offered. im taking this classes though not because of how they will look, although of course thats a big plus, but because i really want to take them. with extra curriculars, i am involved in most of the ones offered. my school is very small and not much is available, the ones im not a part of are japanese club and the video game club which i am not very interested in. i really like wundershowzen's and embeezy's ideas (oh btw, i meant tv teen dramas not real life hs one, definetely not for me lol) i will look into stuff i enjoy and see how i can apply that. with my ec's though i have taken them because i really do enjoy leadership organizations. they involve community service, school involvement, and the kids that are in it are definetely the students that i want to around of.

how does the housing selection process work?
