Chances?

Alright… I can tell you right now that I definitely won’t be the greatest candidate they have seen, but I’m not the worst either. I go to a very competitive school (Ranked in top 20 nationally), so that help explains my gpa.

My SAT’s are a 690 in math, 610 in CR, and 610 in writing, so I won’t send those unless if my critical reading and writing increase about 70 or 80 points each, which is highly unlikely.

GPA: 3.53 Unweighted, 4.0 Weighted, upward trend from freshman year
Classes: I have taken five AP classes, and next year I will be taking 7 more. All of my classes have been considered honors or advanced. I have received dual credit for college for almost every class, and I have taken a few classes at a local college, and will be receiving my AA degree before my high school degree. I am ranked 8th in my class out of 250. I am enrolled in an actual high school, but I go to a different school to take my classes, where I spend my whole day… It’s very complicated, but there are almost zero e.c.'s at the school where I take my classes, and I am unable to get anywhere else for transportation reasons for many e.c.'s, so considering how many e.c.'s I have done is alright compared to how much is available to me.

Thanks a lot

You seem like a solid applicant. Just something that I've noticed (I am very committed to a paid job as well): work experience falls under the "not considered" category for Bowdoin admissions on all of the websites that I have seen. I'm not sure why.

Looks like you have as good a chance as anybody...Of course, other factors like where you live and what sex you are make a difference, so my guess is as good as anyone else's. Good luck!
