I know I will not get in with my current reading SAT score, but if I pull it into the 600's what are my chances.

Be honest, and thanks

You are correct that you have to get the reading score up, and substantially. Even if you hit the high end of your range (660) you will be slightly below the mean in last year's class (around 1410), but a 1370 would be in the ballpark. ND is going to the Common App this year so there will be a lot more applications, and the SAT average has moved up every year. You have done well Junior year, but the freshman and sophomore grades will hold you back. Legacy will help a lot, and your experiences with different cultures makes your application somewhat unique. EA is not an option as your application is not that strong, and besides that you need them to see your senior year grades. Admittance is certainly not a sure thing for you, but it could happen, and higher verbal scores will be very helpful to your case.
