I've had it pretty rough my high school years. I moved to the district my freshman year and knew no one.My mom developed cancer sophomore year and as a result had to retire prematurely from teaching while my dad is the only source of income. On top of that we've had to take care of our ailing grandmother.I just think all these problems really dragged me down in the past and for the first time ever during High school, my senior year seems to be starting off really well and things with the family are getting better but I felt that was the reason why the last 3 years have been subpar for me as far as Academics goes.I did however take AP and Honors classes throughout my highschool career and challenged myself with the hardest classes.

As far as Rec letters go, I think I can get my AP Government teacher to write me a really good one.I confided within her alot of my problems throughout the years (she was also my Honors World History/AP European History teacher) and she helped me through them. She happens to be a Claremont McKenna Alumni too. I've also had a close relationship with my AP Composition teacher of last year, and she can write me a good letter too.

Current classes and grades:
AP Economics (taking both Micro and Macro)-A
AP Government (taking both US and Comparative)-A
AP Statistics&Probability-B-
AP Environmental Science-A
Advance Choir-A+
English IV-B
Teacher Assistant-A+

Anyone care to chance me?

CMC would definitely be a reach for you. The rest should be no problem.
