Test scores are really good. If you compare your GPA with everyone else you are pretty low…</p>

<p>actually this year, acceptance rate increased to about 50% (check other threads, not sure if I remember this correctly). and 42% is not easy? heck if HYP is 20% many ppl on cc woldn’t be so worried. also, umich is rolling admission. as a umich student, i really hoped to see the university increase in selectivity but that didn’t happen. awesome, with your stats, I’m pretty sure you can get into Umich, unless you **** up ur essays or apply the day b4 deadline.</p>

<p>exactly. if you’re middle of HSs like Exter, Hotchkiss, Deerfield, Andover, etc, and you’re going to apply early, you shouldnt worry at all unless you plan to share with the admission counselors rape stories in ur essays.</p>

<p>You had a higher GPA than I did lol and I got into Wharton along with a couple other really good schools, and ended up at Michigan of course. but top boarding school is way overused. </p>

If it’s a REAL top boarding school like AESDCH you are sure in
If by marginal top boarding school you mean like Taft, Loomis, the Hill School or something along that line, you have a good chance.
But if by “top” boarding school you mean NMH or Trinity Pawling caliber, I wish you good luck, you have a chance but it is not good.</p>
<p>If you dont feel comfortable choosing a group, you can tell us the acceptance rate to your boarding school. Acceptance rate is actually a lot more correlated to the school quality for top boarding schools than colleges</p>
<p>hmm you mentioned Massachusetts in another thread, do you go to either Deerfield, Middles3x, Andover or Milton by any chance?</p>
<p>watup doesn’t know what he is talking about, he’s not even a credible source given that he has only 3 posts total (all during one day). But I have to say you have a good chance, your test score are fine (you don’t have to send in SAT II, UM doesn’t require them).</p>
<p>I don’t think you should send your math 1 because you don’t really need too. I don’t think it will help.</p>
