Chances?

Thanks for taking the time to read this, I know these threads can be frustratingly overdone at some times, so I'll try to keep it concise.

Planning to apply to major in Jounalism at IUB.

GPA: 3.75 uw/ 3.9 w
ACT: 30 (worth a retake in Sept.?)
Honors: 9th English, 10th English, Algebra II, Pre Calc, Chemistry, Physics
AP: Environmental (4), Euro (5). Government, English, Psychology to be taken as a Senior
School doesn't rank

EDIT: Forgot to add that I'm OOS...from Ohio.

As for my extracurricular activities and such, I'd say they're above average. I won't go into excruciating detail and list all of them or anything, but IMO, they certainly won't hurt me, if that makes sense.

You’re in 100%.

you should be good for the 9k a year scholarship and maybe into honors.

I got honors with a 31 ACT. Just make sure the weighted gpa is on the transcript.

So would it be pretty standard for a school to put the weighted GPA on the counselor form, transcript, etc.? I’m just curious. If it means anything, weighted GPA goes on report cards and all so I highly doubt counselors would recalculate the GPA solely for recommendations and transcripts…or is that assumption off base?
