<p>im not sure if im posting this in the right forum or anything
but these are my stats and i know you guys dont know anything 100% but maybe you have a better idea than i do
that being said, here goes nothing</p>

<p>i go to a really competitive private school in manhattan, hopefully #1 in class, maybe 2</p>

<p>scores
2380 on sats (800 writing, 800 cr, 780 writing)
790 chem
770 lit
800 1c</p>

<p>uh...
im president of science club, an editor of science newspaper, and editor of two other smaller newspapers and a contributer to the spanish newspaper. i also go to math team and art club on occasion. i volunteered in a old age home. i did a college program one summer, where i took a polisci course. i also worked two summers in labs and will hopefully do an intel project this (my 2nd) summer.
we cant take ap classes till senior yr so then im taking ap phys, ap bc calc, ap spanish and honors america (which counts as an ap) and then a reg english class. i might push for a 5th honors class, honors english, instead of the reg one if it would make a diff.
thoughts?</p>

im in ntnl spanish honor society, made first round in national merit and am waiting on next round

<p>You have very good stats. How long have you been doing each of your ECs? Your newspaper activities could be a hook, depending on how much effort you've put in and recognition you've gained from it. I would like to say that you have above average chances, but you come from an extremely competitive state.</p>
