<p>White, male, out-of-state (georgia)</p>

<p>SAT- 2360 (V-790/M-780/W-790)
SAT II- US History-700, Chemistry-710, Math 1-700
GPA- 3.7 slacked freshman year, but grades steadily go up year to year
top 15% out of 80 (tough private school)
Courseload- All honors and APs
AP scores- US History-5 Chemistry-4 Latin-5 (will take AP Calc AB, AP Lit, and AP Bio next year)</p>

<p>You sound like a very qualified applicant for Davidson, especially with upward trend in your grades. Your ECs suggest a good fit, too, since there's an emphasis on service. (I don't think being out of state is a factor either way, since it's a private school with a national student body.)</p>

<p>Were you asking about your chances for the Belk Scholarship or for regular admissions? :) </p>

<p>OK so outside of your standardized tests you're not a perfect applicant but there aren't any true weaknesses either. There is atleast a 95% chance you get in + the other 5 is a wait list. Just don't botch the aoplication. </p>
