<p>Hey guys, do I have any chances of getting in?</p>

<p>Male
White
VA resident
3.58 gpa
Grime 1490/2400 on the SAT…I’m looking to get it up to at 1600 next week when I retake it, assuming I dont do any better than that.
1010/1600, same as above.
ACT 23…retaking for hopefully a 25.
Football all 4 years.
I guess by the end of the season I will have lettered in football twice.
National Honor Society
History Honor Society applicant
Eagle Scout
Year round job where I ref paintball.
Band Frosh and Soph years and then Guitar Junior and Senior
GIS, which is a duel-enrollment with JMU
Applying for early decision/action
AP World History and AP Government.
Every class that I could I take honors.
Major: International Relations/Affairs/Studies</p>

<p>your SAT/ACT will bring you down, might really hurt chances. but your other stuff looks great!! i say youre in.</p>

<p>Submit SAT optional. It will help you out TONS.</p>

<p>All you have to do is submit your application completed by November 1. You can mark it as regular decision and you’ll be good to go.</p>

<p>Your GPA and extra curriculars are solid, but that SAT will hurt you. So just don’t submit it. It’s a new AU policy. Take full advantage of it.</p>
