<p>Your ACT score and EC’s are really solid but your GPA will not be as competitive as many other applicants. You still have a shot and I would encourage you to apply. Make sure you have shown enough “demonstrated interest” by getting on their mailing list, attending a college fair, or visitng campus if you have not done so already. Hopefully, your recs and essays will be strong.</p>

<p>I would not even send the SAT I score. Your ACT is much higher and would reflect better. Your GPA is on the low side… that will hurt your application. I say you are lacking somewhat on your ECs, but since you seem to demonstrate high commitment on the debate and cross country, maybe emphasize this somewhere in your application (ex. essay) to make you stand out. Otherwise, I agree with WCASParent that your chances, from what I can see, are not great. However, don’t be discouraged in applying!</p>
