There are no set stats for admission to USC, but in general, you need at least a 3.7UW GPA and 2000 SAT. There are many exceptions to this, so you might find some use out of studying the stats of those accepted to USC for 2007-

The earlier acceptances are on the high end because those students were invited to interview for the large merit scholarships.

USC, like most colleges, wants to see that you have taken school seriously, but also that you taken an interest in expanding your education beyond the classroom. If you have enjoyed one or more of your outside activities (like your community service or other extra-curricular), use your junior year to expand that. Take a leadership position, help your friends get involved, and hopefully develop a passion for it that you can write about in an essay. Although sports are great for the mind and body, it is better to focus on something else in your essays.

Don't take this the wrong way but when you post questions here, try to make it easy to understand your post- spell check, use commas, tabs, capitalize, etc. (If you are not a good speller, you can type your post in Word then cut and paste.) People with good posting skills tend to get more responses.

Good Luck!

Okay very helpful information, thank you. I was rushing
