Okay, Im a junior who plays badminton and has few hours of keyclub. I currently have a 3.57 gpa weighted. Im currently taking Hnors precal, IB english,Ib history, Ib tok, IB phscyhology, Biology. I was wondering if i maintained a 3.56 or raised my gpa by a little do i have a shot at universities like UCLA, USC, UCSD

The average unweighted GPA for students admitted to USC is about 3.8. (UCLA and UCSD are very similar.) Try to identify your hook and emphasize it in your essays if your GPA will be lower than that.

3.57 is honestly pretty uncompetitive weighted. you have a long shot, but not from your GPA... most likely from dedicated outside activities, high test scores, or other.

yeah 3.57 gpa is low, im a junior at tehmoment so i have 2 years to raise my gpa significantly

Can someone give me a list of things to do so I would be much more competitive to usc?

Prepare a bit for the PSAT, which you should be taking in about a month. USC likes their National Merit finalists. Then do well on the SAT, and it will improve your chances a lot.

Since it is very important to bring up your GPA- STUDY HARD to get all A's this year.

Sign up for the toughest schedule senior year. Do very well 1st semester senior year because USC will ask for those grades and that can make all the difference.
