go back and change lets say a major choice? an essay? before submiting to other colleges or are you locked in to the one you submited to a previous college?</p>

<p>Yes, you can. Look for the instructions on the Common App site called "Alternate Versions" (or something similar). Or search these forums for "alternate version". There are several threads from back in October (when the policy changed) that give the instructions.</p>
