i ended up not being able to sign up for the stats class at my cc cuz it was filled by the time i could register. on my app, i said that i would be taking it next term though. so should i contact them now and tell them? or should i wait, and if i get accepted, contact them and tell them what happened?

contact them now. It’s a simple process.

ok i will! would you suggest i call admissions or write to them or…?

Always speak to a person (unless they are in some third-world country), just write their name and extension on a postit and slap it with your confirmation printout crap…

ok thanks! and i should call each individual campus i applied to, right?

I would… although since its so early you may be able to simply report the error to the UC app people, but each campus is definately the safest bet.

Yep, each campus

k thanks guys!! btw, do you think it’ll even make much of a difference in regards to an admissions decision? i’m still taking pre-cal at the cc, just not stats, and i couldn’t control it anyway obviously, so…what do you think??

you have bigger things to worry about… think about paying for it first.

paying for what? going to ucla in general?

paying for college in general…
just apply for scholarships.
If you have that down, practice your hand at beer pong, mixing drinks, putting on a condom, w/e

lol gotcha.

hey so ucla is closed till january 3rd, so…should i wait until then to call them or should i write to them NOW or do something else?

Just follow the directions on the website. It doesn’t really matter when you do it

yeah the website says to send it in writing…so email? or a hard copy? it’s confusing cuz some schools prefer paper mail and others want email, but it doesn’t specify so hopefully either one would be ok. i might call when ucla opens just to make sure i’m doing it right. thanks!
