Can someone tell me how I would go about changing my major to the cinema school? Is there a specific process/deadlines?

You can declare a Cinema/TV minor by filling out a form, but to “change” to an **SCA major **you would have to apply to SCA and sumbit all the supplemental materials. I do not know the details, so maybe start by filling out this contact form: [USC School of Cinematic Arts - Prospective Students Request Information](http://cinema.usc.edu/prospective/requestinfo.cfm)

First question: Do you want to be a Critical Studies or a Production major? It is easier to transfer into Critical Studies. Go to the office and ask what is currently required to transfer. Have you taken some basic film classes? Have you shown an interest in the class and made connections to a faculty member(s) who can recommend you? Both help…a lot. Good luck!
