Change Major

I wrote in my essay that I wanted to study Math&Physics double major and got accepted by CAS. But then I changed my mind and want to study Math&Eco, yet my I-20 says my Primary Major is Physics,General. What do I do?

BTW, how hard is mathematics and economics? In terms of workload?

nothing

pretty hard, from what i've heard. but do what you love.

My advice would be to concentrate on the math major, and explore both the physics and econ options, which are easy to do within the scope of the math major.

Generally speaking, a math/physics major may often be considered more employable than math/econ, simply because they are hardcore.

Econ/math is really popular among econ majors. The econ major consists of only 8 classes and it's extremely flexible. I'm an econ major and I'm able to fit in another major and a concentration without too much effort.

And while I don't know about math/physics, the math/econ majors I know didn't have any problems finding jobs after graduation. Though it depends on what you want to do- they are mostly ibankers.
