how easy is it to change my major choice within the college of arts and sciences?

I heard it's pretty easy.

I head that too but I'd like to know when is it considered too late for such thing?

bump.............

you can change your major as much as you want till the end of sophomore year, when you have to declare a major.

thank you so much, what about to another school? (ex. Engineering to Architecture)

switching from school to school really depends on the school you're going into. They will usually let you, but you will be behind in the requirements for that school.

Actually, I have to comment on my previous post that the same goes for switching majors. Many majors have it set up so that you take certain courses freshmen year, then certain other courses junior year, and so on. If you decide late that you want to do that major, then you will be behind everyone else. People still do it, but they have to double up on some courses. So freshmen year, take all the intro courses that you think you might major in, so that you can keep your options open.

And I have never heard of anyone switching from Engineering to Architecture. Usually, people don't switch into architecture, only out of it.
