Has anyone ever

has anyone ever heard of a case in which a student was able to change their major before entering Cornell (freshman or transfer)?..
if so, how?
thank you!

Actually, Cornell sent my a letter a few days ago asking if I wanted to keep my major, change it or become undecided. I am a pre-fresh. If you didn't get it, call and ask.

(As far as I know, you can only switch majors within your school.)

hey could you please PM me a sample of what the letter said exactly
that would help me out a lot
thanks sooo much

If you can't switch before you get here, it is definitely possible to switch colleges once you're here, you'd just have to go to the offices of the colleges you're switching between and someone would sort it out with you.

it's really not a big deal, switching before or after. I'm sure you have common required courses for both majors that you can do the first semester you're at cornell.

We aren't bound to a major yet, so you don't really need to change it before you get there. You have until like the end of sophmore year.

Amechee...chill.

you can switch your major whenever you want but it doesn't really matter because you're not technically tied down to a major until the start of junior year. However, you can not switch colleges until you have completed one semester at our current college.

what if you are a junior transfer?...

call cornell... I doubt anyone here can give you a reliable answer

it doesn't matter who you are, you can only switch schools after one semester. If you were a junior transfer why weren't you 100% sure on the school at Cornell that you wanted to attend?

My answer is exactly 66.544% reliable.

Yes.

not schools.... majors within the school

yeah you can switch your major. just call up cornell.

what department in cornell specifically?
what do i say?

call the admissions office of your selected school. and then tell them that you're an incoming junior transfer and you want to change your major.

Dear Sir/Madam to whom this may concern,

May be sexy123 does not have a doctor. What if someone cannot afford a doctor?

Thanks
Hello!

Dear Timduncanbball and any other Sir or Madam to whom this may concern,

Sorry.

Sincerly,
Hello!

i know some of you bourgeois kids think some people are really silly/stupid/retarded...but you have to realize...some of us have to handle ALL Cornell business on our own...(my parents don't speak/read English)

haha I agree with that! (I’m in the same situation as u )^^ some of the stuff is so darn confusing/ demanding too lol

you think cornell will do it?
has it been done before? anyone have the experience? or know of someone?
whats the process exactly?
what should i tell them?
thanks
