<p>I was given decent financial aid award to NYU based on my parents estimated earnings for the last tax year but after my parents filed their tax returns it turned out that they earned significantly less than estimated. I have already accepted the financial aid award from NYU and have paid the enrollment deposit. Will I be given more money based on the change on my FAFSA or not because I already accepted the award?</p>
<p>Depends if they have more money to give. If the change makes you eligible for Federal Aid, then you will get that.</p>
<p>Unless you are a highly sought after student I don’t think your FA offer will change much.</p>
