I need to put down my enrollment deposit but there are some issues with my FAFSA so my financial aid award/loans are unavailable. If I enroll will my financial aid still be considered? Or will it be set at the current scholarship amount?

If you don’t have a finalized financial aid award, then YES, your award CAN change. And yes, if your income is higher, and assets are higher, your aid can be reduced.

Yes, financial aid packages can change, even “finalized” ones. They may HAVE to be changed if you incorrectly reported info and you don’t meet need definitions; the aid would then have to be reduced, certainly state and federal aid. A school can do as it pleases with its own money. Many will be quick to reduce aid if there is a mistake in that direction, but may not increase it, if it has to come from their own funds and they are out of money. You are then out of luck. They can’t give you what they don’t have.
