Do to a couple circumstances, I had to drop one class in favor of a required one, in addition I picked up an AP Course. The switch did not make my schedule easier, it was simply a necessary switch for graduation. However, because I am sending in brown applications early, my transcript has already been sent out which included my senior year course load on it, but without grades. Will it hurt that Brown will see a difference in classes (but not schedule difficulty as I am taking the same amount of aps) due to this change from the initial transcript and mid year report?

Bump. 10char

I would send an email to the admissions office and ask them. Our opinions don’t matter.

Okay, but just in your opinion should it be a problem?

Sounds like your schedule is more rigorous. Unlikely to be a problem. They just need to know.

Most schools require you to notify them if you have a change in your senior schedule after you have applied. Drop them an email letter them know about the switch. It’s not a big deal.

An email just to the office of undergraduate admissions, right? They will be able to track it back to me still?

You make it sound like you are doing something that is dishonest. Your OP implies that you made a simple change due to graduation requirements. Perhaps you are withholding information in what you posted here.

It is fine if you don’t want to divulge complete information, but you cannot expect us to give you the answers that you are looking for without the full picture.

No I am not. I had to drop one of my ap courses for this credit that my school requires and in doing so I elected to put in another AP class so my schedule wouldn’t seem easier. I am not doing something dishonest. My counselor even said that if they called with questions she would explain the situation.
If you really must know, I was perfectly okay with dropping the one ap in favor ofthe required course and the other AP because this ap teacher that I had is very bad and her kids don’t do well on the exams and she doesn’t grade the class very well. I made a post about this. So when I heard I had to drop it due to a graduation requirement I was absolutely ecstatic, except for the fear of it being counted against me.

That’s right. If you’ve been assigned a file number at that school, use it. Otherwise your name and address is sufficient.
