I changed one of my AP classes to Honors classes in the middle of my senior year due to a problem with my teacher. I told Rutgers that the change was made and they told me it does weaken my senior year course-load. I still have two heavy mathematical AP classes to deal with. Would this change be grounds for rescinsion? I am getting As-Bs in most of my classes.

No, they won’t rescind you if you notified them of the change and the reason for the change.

Thanks for the reassurance. I simply told them that I changed my class, I didnt give them a reason though. They simply said thank you for the notification and a standard answer dropping the rigor of my senior year. Ive been reading a lot of threads of people who received a rescinsion letters so Im a bit spooked.

Honestly, even if you didn’t inform Rutgers, they wouldn’t rescind you. People get rescinded for failing like half of their courses, not changing one course from AP to honors. You will be fine :)

Don’t worry.
