A few weeks ago I asked my leadership advisor to right me a LOR for something i wanted to apply to. so she wrote it and sent it to me and I sent in my application with the LOR. Now I need another LOR in 2 days and i was wondering if i could just change the date on the LOR from May to July and change the Dear Council Reviewers to Dear Reviewer (its too late to ask for one). So i can kinda reuse it (there are no guidelines to whom to write the LOR or what it should be about). Will doing that be Illegal or would it be alright and no problem would come with that??
P.S
its not for college application. its just to attend a leadership workshop.

Ask the LOR writer first. In the future, ask for generic LORs that can be submitted for different purposes.

Agreed with above. I wouldn’t want to do anything without the letter writer’s permission. Also, this is also the reason why teacher’s and GC’s recommendations are often generic that apply more than to just colleges, so if you ask them, they can send it for scholarship applications, and ect.

Call them up or email them if you are not sure.
