WHAT TO BRING
For the CalSO Program

*Your CalNet ID and passphrase (required to register for your classes at CalSO).

*A backpack to carry your belongings (we’re going to give you a lot of stuff!).
*Comfortable shoes (a must for the hilly campus terrain).
*A sweater or jacket (the weather in Berkeley is unpredictable). Check this link for weather information:

*Bedding, a pillow, and towels will be provided in the residence halls.

IF YOU’RE DRIVING
CalSO attendees are strongly encouraged to use public transportation ([Travel by BART](http://calso.berkeley.edu/content/travbart.html)). Please note that parking is not included in the CalSO program fee and that permit machines require exact change in bills: the rate is $7 per day.

You may park in these campus parking lots on a first-come, first-served basis:
*Underhill Structure on Channing, between College and Bowditch (best location)
*Ellsworth Structure on Ellsworth, between Channing and Haste (limited spots)

All guests will need a CalSO Conference Slip (link below). You will also need to purchase a daily parking permit by 9am for each day you’re at CalSO; this includes early arrival. Both these items must be displayed on your dashboard. You should not park in a “Reserved” space; CalSO is unable to waive or pay for any campus parking violations.
