I got my initial course enrollment with all the courses that were changed. now, on it, it says that I may make changes beginning august 2, 2005 in all caps. am I guaranteed the courses that I request to be changed? (I guess not because they why they changed it in the first place, huh?) what is the difference between mking changes august 2, 2005 and the Change Period of Aug 25-31?

No, once all schedules have been fixed, open spots in courses are first-come, first-come via OASIS. That's why people who were bumped get first dibs.

I just got my schedule in the mail. It says I can make changes starting August 2nd, which I would like to do. Do we make any changes on OASIS beginning midnight on AUg. 2, or is there any reason to call the registrar? Maybe someone who has done this before can maybe clear this up.

i'm still a little confused on the changing courses process. like today, oasis opened back up again and i went in to find which courses i could switch to. i switched into a few, are these changes final? or do i still need to turn in that course request sheet?

but see i also changed soem of my courses so that i could fit into the course that i wanted to take. so i switched some of my other sections so that i could take the english course i was originally bumped out of.

oasis is back up again? can freshmen access it?

If you were bumped from a class, you can make changes starting today. If not, you must wait until next Tuesday I think.

A big rule of thumb for all you OASIS virgins: once the registrar sets everybody's schedules and your circumstances clear you to access OASIS, you are free to change your schedule to your hearts desire during the drop/add period to the extent that there are open spots in the classes.
