Changing discussion times?

<p>So I e-mailed Sailor about changing my discussion time without enrolling in a different class. He said its up to the TA that is in charge of the discussions.</p>

<p>Do the TAs usually allow you to come to a different discussion? Is attendance taken? (because someone told me some classes have a % of grade based on you being there)</p>

<p>I need a new one because it conflicts with one of my classes by 20 minutes, and I'm already enrolled in chem so I don't want to go on another waitlist by enrolling in a diff. time. -.-</p>

<p>if your TA is a graduate student, then you can most certainly go to any one of the 3 or 4 sections for that lecture that graduate students are assigned. undergrads, however, typically only teach 1 section. </p>

<p>fwiw, i only took attendance to know how many printouts to bring for the next class and to learn names. it had nothing to do with grades.</p>
