i was accepted at CALS.
and my intended major on the application was biological sciences.
but now i want to know if i can switch my major to biological engineering.
CALS offers bio engineering, so im not going to apply to engineering school.
can i switch my major to bio engineering? thanks in advance.

E-mail your advisor when you get your advisor assignment this summer... it will probably take a semester to officially change majors, but he/she might allow you to enroll in the appropriate courses first semester.

Talk to your adviser when you get there. Also, reach out to the BEE department. Just make sure you sign up for the engineering math (either MATH191 or MATH192) for your first semester.

Great advice from ecc. You must not take Math 111 or 112, which is likely what a bio major would be placed in. Math 191/192 would replace those courses - it's kind of like Calc with engineering applications - ecc could explain further - I'm not a student, just an involved alum.
