Sooo, When I applied to my first choice I applied as a Biological Sciences major. I recently went to oreintation got to go meet the head of the Bio department. I found out something I don't like about the major and I think I'm going to change it. But then thinking about it, there's nothing I would be interested in besides maybe Political science. Well anyway, we aren't allowed to pick a minor, it's automatically Chemistry. It's disappointmenting because I wanted a minor in Political Science and a Major in Bio.

Rules vary from college to college. However, you should check more into what is actually allowed at your college. Having chemistry as a minor for bio sciences may not necessarily mean you cannot have another minor. It sounds like chemistry is a minor simply because the courses you will be required to take for bio sciences automatically result in having enough hours for a chemistry minor. But do the rules of the college actually prohibit you from pursuing another minor? Maybe, but check further because that is not the usual situation for colleges (note, department heads often do not know the actual rules for pursuing a minor). It is often not easy to complete, in four years, a minor that is unrelated to your major (as your choices would be), not because it is disallowed, but because it is difficult to complete all the requirements within four years. Also, before you consider changing majors, you should check as to when that is allowed or recommended as many colleges won't permit it until after the first semester or first year.
