<p>Anyone know where to find the form to change majors? I've found a lot for specific colleges, but they are only for if you are a current student. I am an incoming freshman but I definitely want to change my major before school starts, so I was wondering if it was possible to do that.</p>

<p>That only works for some majors though. If you had tried to switch to Engineering or Architecture, they would have told you no. You can change your major before they make a decision, but after they make a decision on your application, you cannot transfer into the restricted majors until you meet the transfer requirements.</p>
<p>at hokie focus i got a slip of paper that said if i wanted to try for a restricted major i should email them after may 18th i dont have the slip of paper anymore because i am not doing that,i wish i could be more help but try emailing them and asking about that</p>

<p>Is psychology a restricted major? And does anyone know whether it is hard to switch into the college of business from a whole different college after you have taken a semester or two of the other?</p>

Hey so quick question- I’m an incoming freshman and I want to switch majors from CMDA to HNFE. Can I use the appchange@vt.edu email with my request or is there another form?
You might want to start a new thread since this one is from 2011 and many people will skip over it. However, I believe HFN is a restricted major and you cannot simply submit a change form prior to starting in the Fall. It is an application process with certain requirements that must be met prior to application. I could be wrong, but here is a link that might help you.
