Hi,
I currently am attending UCLA as a pre-psychology major and wanted to know if anyone had any information on possibly switching my major to nursing my junior year or if that was only available to students outside UCLA. I recently found my passion to be nursing and might have to transfer to a different school junior year if I am unable to switch into UCLA’s nursing program. Please any info helps. Thank you.
The UCLA Nursing Prelicensure major is open to freshmen and a limited number of junior transfer applicants. I would contact the Nursing department but it looks like UCLA does not accept internal transfers for Nursing. You can apply to other Nursing programs as a Junior transfer.
Back in February you wrote you were accepted to Nursing at UC Irvine which is a direct-admit program. Pass your classes and you’d be a nurse. http://talk.qa.collegeconfidential.com/discussion/comment/21232607#Comment_21232607
It may have been a miscalculation to enroll at UCLA instead.
