I am attending UCLA this fall and I have been accepted for psychology. I really want to become a nurse, but people keep telling me I cannot get into the program until after I graduate. Is this true or is there another way? If that is true, what major should I switch to so I will be better prepared for nursing school? Please help! I cannot find an answer anywhere, and I really am desperate.
Looks like you can’t change into Nursing if you weren’t admitted directly to it.

10 minutes search online would have shown you that there are undergrad nursing programs, and furthermore that some are “direct admit” meaning that if accepted to the program you don’t have to apply once enrolled in college to change majors to nursing. Too bad you didn’t do a little of your own research or ask your HS GC/advisor instead of asking “people”.
