Changing major

Hi guys,

Im a new admitted student and I would like to change my major from Chemistry to Chemical Eng. How feasible is that?? Please I need a response asap.

Thanks

Different colleges right? As long as it is not an audition or portfolio based application college, you just need to take courses in your new major first semester, get Bs or higher in all the classes in that major (plus math if it is Viterbi), fill out the doc to transfer and you are in.

Sorry to hijack OP’s thread, but to elaborate off their question, what would be the process for spring admits? I was accepted as my second choice (undecided) and since my first semester would likely be at my local cc, how would the process work? Assuming all the credits I take are transferable, would I just have to go through the same process as described above?

@hotchair5‌ My son was also an Undecided Spring admit. The process is the same. I also suggest you get that lower level writing course completed before you come to USC as it’s a pretty tough class.

@GamerGal27‌ Thank you!
