I have applied to 8 Cal States, and on all of them, I listed computer science as my major. Now, I want to major in biomedical/biological engineering. How can I inform the universities of my decision?

Well, your intended major is by no means set in stone. Especially since you don't declare your freshman year, but if you find this to be a pressing need I would just suggest contacting the admissions office.

But will it delay the admissions process?

no... unless BME has a special app process like JHU

Haha, you sound like me. All this time I've been thinking CS, but really, CS is unique in that any un-degree'd shmuck can get a high-paying programming job.

I'm going into BME as well. Now, applying that CS and E to another complicated field, that's both an interesting and secure field.

Edit: Mmm... Brain-computer interfacing.. Can you smell the Matrix yet?

I hear you. BWT, do you know which cal states are strongest in biomedical/biological engineering?
