<p>Hi, I was accepted into Cal as a Cognitive Science major, however I just recently decided that I want to pursue a premed track. Is there anyway I can change majors to Molecular Cell Biology, even if I don't have my prerequisites completed? Is there anyway I can change majors after the first year as a transfer student at Cal?
I would also like to know if I could double major, since I really do love both subjects. Is there a unit limit, or could I do this? Thanks.</p>
<p>I thought people don’t get into their majors for Letter and Science (humanities). I guess you can choose any major within your college

<p>You can do mcb as long as you have enough prereqs done so that you can graduate on time otherwise they’re not gonna want to let you declare it.</p>
<p>yeah, but the thing is I actual don’t have my prereqs done, but I calculated all units and courses required, and it is indeed possible for me to finish within 2 years, even if I take the prereqs at Cal. The question is …will they let me into the major?</p>
