Hi. So I will be entering UCI as a freshman this fall as a biology/education major. I'm thinking about trying to change my major to nursing science, and I was wondering if I can do that at SPOP or when I can do it? I know I will have to apply to UCI's nursing school after I finish all of the prerequisites, but I want to make sure I can change my major before I finish to many prerequisites for the biology major. Thank you!

Nursing science is impacted. As far as I know, you can’t really change your major to Nursing until the Nursing school accept you. Good luck on Nursing :)

Thank you. And also, do you have any advice on whether it would be better to take classes to fulfill my current major of biology/education, or if I should take classes to fulfill nursing science, since those are the ones I will probably need to complete for nursing school? And also if I am allowed to take classes for nursing even though I will be listed as a biology/education major? Thank you for all of your help.
