Changing My Major (//_\\)

Hello

I've been accepted into CSULB's Finance program for their BS but I'm second guessing how well I will do in these finance courses. My other interest lies in Marketing but the coursework seems a bit bland although both majors are very applicable to real-world applications.

Is there a way for me to try out the finance then switch over to Marketing? I do know that you'll have to take a few more junior-level classes (intro to marketing / managerial economic / etc etc) before you get to the main meal but any thoughts?

Thanks.
:3

edit: if it helps i'm not much of a quant (calculus is easy to understand for me, but the details i get reaaaaaally sloppy) but am very oriented/ good at sales (though i hate it lol) and I see trying to become eventually a management consultant. I also have plans for a MBA in the future.

You’re a transferring student? Junior year is a bit late to be testing things out, credits wise it’ll put you in a bad spot. You’d be better off talking to your advisors (you’ll have mandatory advising as a transfer student anyways) and ask them that question, or ask them about the Marketing major altogether and try to decide from that. There’s career advisors also in the horn center that could help.
