Changing my Major at UC Davis

<p>Hi all,</p>

<p>I signed a TAG for UC Davis for fall of 2010. I applied as a Pre-Managerial Economics major. I have recently, however, discovered that I would much rather be a Computer Science major. I read on the UC Davis website that with a TAG, you are able to petition for a change of major after 1 quarter at UCD.</p>

<p>My question is, how hard would it be to transfer into the Computer Science major after one quarter? I did not find anything about it being impacted, so I imagine it's as easy as transferring into any other major, but I'm unsure and would like some confirmation.</p>

<p>So, is the petition process hard, and do they have certain requirements for transferring into the Computer Science major?</p>

<p>I’m not sure about if they will let you change, but you generally need to have taken classes like calc for computer science.</p>
