Changing my Major

I recently got accepted into NC States college of textiles, however I submitted my application last November, and since then my study interests have shifter towards computer studies, which falls underneath the college of engineering.
In order to change my major, do they look at your high school transcripts again? Is it difficult to change? Or am I better off changing major after my first year?

I’d like to change my major to computer studies as well (more competition, eh?). You’ll have to apply for CODA, which is fairly difficult to pull off for engineering. NCSU has a page on it somewhere.

This page doesn’t say it - but I thought my son needed a 3.6 in those classes to get into Chem E.
