How much are you payed gome? And getting an internship between soph-junior year (summer) and then the next Summer you should expect a paid one right? I did a job shadow this summer to put on my resume and rack up experience btw. I'm hoping to get a paid one next Summer with a multinational company and then go to somewhere such as Japan the next Summer to work as an intern with the same company. (I really wanna travel!). And I'm obvi hoping both would be paid.

Since ur the guru I ask you if that is possible :)

i work at HoCo and somewhere else

"How much are you payed gome?"
About $850/week, plus $180-200 every other week for my research job that I can do on my laptop.

"And getting an internship between soph-junior year (summer) and then the next Summer you should expect a paid one right?"
Typically, though the amount of pay can vary highly. Much of it will come down to you, your gpa, prior experience, and how well you can interview. Just jump on career service things really early on campus.

what is your research job? is it related to your day job or no...

manipulating or sorting data for a Prof. No relation between the two jobs, though the work can be similar at times.

lol i didnt say anything... i am trying to be as gender biased as possible so if i said he its not want i meant.

Gome that’s so great! so the career services should be able to guide you in the right direction in terms of finding a good internship and everything, right? or will it require some outside searching? is your job through the school?

Career services will help out with the majority of stuff from resumes to interviews. They have alot of programs aimed at helping you find internships and/or jobs.

You'll have to do some of your own research, but not really through outside stuff, but like through Cornell's own job postings website and so forth.

My research job is through the school, my main job isn't through the school but I found it by using the Cornell career services website ... employers can post jobs/internships on there.

sounds great! so its best to start collaborating with them early on…

coolio......

yeah i am trying to do the same thing too. acerbic are you a transfer or freshman?

transfer.....
