Unfortunately, because my son took time off from college, he’s not eligible for an automatic Cal Grant. He has to compete for one: 150,000 for 12,500 grants. No one tells kids these things. Very disappointing.
My son will hopefully call today but we’re 99% sure it won’t be affordable. Onto plan B or plan C.

Omg I started my housing application… is there seriously not an option to request a specific housing option! I really don’t wanna be stuck in a tiny room with 2 other people when I can stay home for free in my own room. so frustrating.

@jakecap1123 some Dodge applicants are doing Skype interviews in the coming weeks. Though not necessarily an indicator of acceptance

@screenname2019 I just called them and they said that there will be more specifications in April as far as room and housing preferences but there was no option for that when I filled mine out but they said it’s okay

I just got accepted yesterday and am so excited to be going! I was wondering does anyone know much about the housing and which ones are better options?
@acceptmeplz376 lol it wasn’t there for me but I found a guide online that showed it. Also talked to a friend who goes to Chapman and she explained it.
@screenname2019 ugh I’m gonna call again tomorrow and see if I can edit it. It looks like I can’t rn, but I know for a fact il get a single because of accommodations. Did it ask if you wanted a roommate or which housing place you preferred?

I believe what will happen is we submit our application then we will get sent a time slot to select a specific room/option. Should happen by the end of April (if it is similar to last year).

hi! I applied to Dodge as a transfer and I was wondering if anyone knew if the skype interviews are exclusive to Film Prod majors. I applied as a Creative Producing major and have not received any requests for an interview
@screenname2019 gotcha. I have an accommodation request so I’ll have my own room but I’m more concerned about the bathroom, I would prefer to have one for myself but we’ll see. I think the Grand is pretty cool and would give me my own room/bathroom.

I meant I applied as health sciences excuse my error. I had a 3.3 ish GPA and a C in two of the pre-reqs. But strong essays, completed IGETC, work and volunteer experience, and still have not heard back.
