Hi, my daughter is applying to transfer for Spring 2020 and we are trying to determine if the merit scholarships will make the school affordable enough for us. I’ve seen other posts that say the “Trustee” scholarship is $14k/yr. Do you mind sharing how much the “Founder” scholarship is worth? And curious what GPA is likely to earn one or the other. Thanks for any help!

The net price calculator on the website can tell you. Just enter different GPAs and it will tell you which scholarship and amount.

We actually CALLED. Housing assignments will be out by this Friday for transfers. Good Lord.
Also, @Hookemhorns00 in answer to the Trustee Scholarship ($14,000 per year) vs. Founder’s scholarship ($12,000) a year, I was curious as well. So I went to the net price calculator that @screenname2019 mentioned and typed in various GPAs. The Trustee is the largest transfer merit scholarship and is awarded to students with a 3.6 GPA or above. Hope this helps!
@itcannotbetrue OMG REALLY!?!! Finally! I didn’t think they would actually tell us, so I didn’t bother calling. Wow now I can relax and just wait for Friday ?
Anyone hear about housing yet? I am so impatient it’s unbelievable ?
I haven’t heard anything but I did call because I was honestly getting paranoid that I never received anything stating I was for sure getting housing.
I called earlier and the lady said I didnt have any housing assignment on my account. She said I should look for off campus housing but I honestly cant afford monthly payments & I got a housing grant from Chapman and was hoping to use that to help with the housing costs.
Does anyone have any ideas what I should do or who i should contact? I’m honestly in such a panic, i had everything planned out for housing there & now it might just be ruined
@Hyliancream did you submit/complete your housing application by June 1st? You can check your application and it will tell you the date/time it was considered complete. Also did you pay your housing and enrollment deposit?
I’m sure they just haven’t released the assignments so it doesn’t show on your account.
Yes! I submitted my money on the 7th of May & the application on the 16th. I hope that’s what it is! @screenname2019
My daughter is a continuing student and received her housing email about a half hour ago.

Update: I didnt get housing even thought it was on time. They offered a refund but I’m going to hold on til the deadline & see if I can get housing. Hopefully you guys got your housing!
Housing also received! Does anyone know anything about Sandhu Residence Center? That’s the assignment.
Sandhu is the newest. There are several configurations so it depends on which one you got. It is pretty roomy, you may even be in a four person quad or a more traditional two person. There is no kitchen in Sandhu rooms, but it is in the same building as the cafeteria. The suite style has a kitchen, but no cooktop or oven. There is parking in the basement which is really nice.
