Hi Camelot14,

“The undergraduate programs offered through the Argyros School of Business and Economics not only prepares students for our dynamic and globally minded business world, but also teaches a strong foundation in the liberal arts. With an emphasis on collaboration, creativity and networking, the Argyros undergraduate business programs are the perfect start for the business minded student, preparing them to be forward thinking individuals who make a difference in the world.”

I think the key part of this statement regarding Chapman U’s liberal arts education vs. other universities is the small class sizes (average size about 14 students per class), notable professors with real business world experience and a curricula that is directed to what you need to know for your profession not learning academia as in other institutions of higher learning. Because of the small class sizes students make strong connections with their professors; they will work with you to learn whatever you specifically need to know (develop the skills) to prepare you for your career. I suggest Camelot14 that you check out the Argyros professors in detail by going to:

[Faculty Directory | ASBE | Chapman University](<a href=“Argyros School of Business and Economics | Chapman University”>Argyros School of Business and Economics | Chapman University)

Then click on Tenured/Tenure-track and press search. You can click on each professor and check them out; these are the people whom will be molding you. See if they are a match to your interests.

Chapman also has an Integrated Five-Year Undergraduate BA-MBA Program is open to all Chapman University undergraduate students. This accelerated program allows undergraduates to obtain both an undergraduate degree and graduate business (MBA) degree with just one additional year of study beyond the traditional four years.

Camelot14, you really have to visit Chapman U and meet other Business major students to understand what a great college adventure awaits the freshman whom enrolls. Until you do you will not understand. All the best to you Camelot14.

Thanks for the info.

I am comparing Chapman and USD. Still waiting on UCSD but it does not have the same type of business undergrad focus.
