Went to enroll in the English 103 class and every single one of them, and there are a lot, has a wait list already! Is that possible? Seems crazy for a school that costs over 60K per year!
That’s crazy! They should have enough classes for all the freshmen.
Im sorry this is happening! I transferred from a public school to Chapman and the registration process is nowhere near the nightmare that it was at my other school. Students at Chapman still complain about it but it is an overall better process than at other big schools. If you go to class on the first day, a lot of professors will let you add it if there are enough chairs in the classroom. I have crashed two classes and gotten in so far. Good luck!
thank you. do you recall if there is any movement on the WL…like if there are 4 or 5 on the WL, can you actually get in?
In my experience, no, but Ive only been at Chapman for one year. On the first day, usually 3 to 4 people are there and have add forms (that you can get online, always have one with you on the first week) and then they sign it right there and you can add the class. Once a professor made me go to his class all week and signed my add form on Friday.
My friend’s son is having the same experience at Chapman. Cant get any classes he really wants for his first semester. They are SO disappointed.
