Chapman Merit Scholarships

My daughter received her acceptance to Dodge. There was no information on whether she received a merit scholarship. Does anyone know if that information comes separately? Thanks

Last year the merit letter was included in the Acceptance packet that came in the mail. But it was very easy to miss!! Son’s was filed with other letters and notifications on the left side of the folder. We didn’t even see it at first–noticed it only when he laid everything out on the table. I don’t know that they’ll do it exactly the same way this year, but I suggest that you go through the folder carefully.

Best of luck! The school is wonderful and we couldn’t be happier. DS is loving Chapman Dodge.

Thank you. I’ll check. We are very excited.

Last year, my son’s merit award letter was also in the acceptance packet. That was the award specifically based on his GPA and test scores. However, a few weeks later, he received an additional offer, specifically for his major.

I received a scholarship directly in my acceptance letter this year!

OP, I had the same question when my son was accepted to Dodge. I took Gadiatorbird’s suggestion and double checked his acceptance folder, but there was nothing about merit aid to be found. So, I emailed admissions to politely ask if he would possibly be hearing about merit aid at a later date and was told, very kindly I must say, that there would be no merit aid for him. It appears that, for the straight merit aid based on GPA and test scores, that if it wasn’t in the acceptance package, there is none.
