Nope. It says " Note: Additional letters may be available for viewing and will list below by date. Please review all available letters".
Ahhh, I got waitlisted. It says though that I may not even hear from them until mid-May, but by then I will have had to make a decision already. How does that work? If I get accepted off the waitlist, would I still be able to accept the offer at that point? The letter also said I could submit any additional information not currently on my app, but I don’t know what that’s supposed to be. I’ve never been on a waitlist yet, so if anyone could tell me what to do that would be great!
Admitted for Theatre BA with a Provost Scholarship!
My daughter was admitted for Spring 2021. She can apply for the Fall waitlist. She’s very disappointed. Does anyone know if they pull from the Spring list before the general waitlist?
Hey! Do you think we could still hear decisions after 5pm? Or does that mean I won’t hear today?
Thanks!
My daughter is in the same boat, that is, admitted in Spring and offered the fall wait list.
Do you mind sharing her stats? I’m on the waitlist as well (not for spring though, just the general one) and I’m not sure if it’s worth it because I’m already in the lower half of the applicant pool. Getting off the list just seems unrealistic for me unfortunately.
My son was admitted for BS, Software Engineering, Presidential Scholar. Yay!
Accepted for Business Admin, Marketing with Provost Scholarship! Finally got into a school in-state :))
Daughter got accepted for Communication Studies and received Presidential Scholar Merit Scholarship! This is the first school she’s heard from and I’m so happy it was positive. Still on edge waiting to hear from 11 other schools. Congratulations to everyone who was admitted!
OMG I got in for Biology with just a 3.37 Weighted GPA!
She auditioned in January. I hope that you received good news today,
Same here, I have not heard back!
Son got accepted into the BFA program in Graphic Design. Very excited for the good news and son thrilled with an in-state opportunity. Wishing the wait to hear from other schools would end soon…
I applied for that program aswell. Would you mind sharing some of his stats?
Thanks!
Son stats for BFA Graphic Design: 4.0 WGPA and 33 ACT. 3 APs. Creative director of his school publication with a solid portfolio (in my opinion). I think the leadership and creative work is a very strong distinguishing quality.
My daughter got into BFA Graphic Design also. WGPA a little over 4.0. Good EC’s but related to music/dance, not art. No test scores. Merit aid only $12k/yr, though; orders-of-magnitude lower than other private universities, largest was $35 K/yr. Guess too many kids want to move to SoCal. Waiting on Cal Poly SLO and UC results.
Good luck to your daughter in her choices! $35k is great. Son is waiting on results from UCLA, USC, and a handful of other private schools before deciding.
Daughter got into Software Engineering with Merit Aid for 12K/year (total of 48K) not so much and no financial aid so it will be still so high tuition so we will still wait for SLO and UCs.
Does anyone know if merit aid is a bit negotiable? Son got Dean’s Scholarship (20K/year) for Chapman film producing program. But he got Trustee’s scholarship (28K/year) at Emerson so I am urging him to strongly consider there tho he prefers Chapman. Says he wants to write Chapman and request additional merit aid. Has anyone done this or know the process?
